The claim
“Prop 144 ends voting by mail in Arizona.”
The fact
False. Early voting by mail stays. You keep receiving your ballot at home, voting at your kitchen table, and mailing it back or dropping it off. Prop 144 only adds the option to have your ballot tabulated on-site.
The claim
“I'll be dropped from the Active Early Voting List.”
The fact
No. Prop 144 does not remove anyone from the early voting list. Your ballot still comes to your mailbox for every election you're eligible to vote in.
The claim
“The ID requirement is designed to block voters.”
The fact
Prop 144 replaces signature-matching guesswork with one uniform standard: government-issued ID for every ballot, in person and by mail. Arizona issues a state ID at no cost to voters who need one.
The claim
“Counting faster means counting sloppier.”
The fact
On-site tabulation runs the same certified equipment used today, just at the voting location, in front of local observers, instead of days later at a central facility. Same ballots, same safeguards, sooner.
The claim
“Nothing in the measure addresses who is eligible to vote.”
The fact
Prop 144 writes citizens-only voting into the Arizona Constitution, so the standard can't be quietly rewritten by future rule changes.

“Foreign spending in state ballot fights isn't a real issue.”
The fact
Prop 144 bans foreign nationals from spending to influence Arizona elections, a bright-line rule so Arizona elections are decided by Arizonans.
